Meet The Founders

We are two of Utah's most experienced out-of-hospital midwives. And we created this space for you.

We're Melissa Chappell and Seasons Warner, and between us we have 60+ years of experience and have attended thousands of births. We've sat beside women in birth rooms, living rooms, hospitals, and more. We've been there when everything went beautifully as well as when plans changed completely. We know how to handle both.

We started Utah Birth Suites because we kept seeing the same thing: women who wanted time, honesty, and to feel like a human in the room rather than a patient on a schedule. This is our community and you are our neighbors and friends. Serving this community is the whole reason we opened the doors.

We are licensed midwives. We take the clinical side of this work seriously and we also know how to hold your hand and sit with you when you're scared. We want you to experience birth surrounded by a team who genuinely love this work and genuinely love you.

Safety

We watch closely, act when we need to, and transfer with compassion when a higher level of care is needed. Safety, to us, includes how a woman feels in the room, in addition to what’s on her chart.
